Our internship program gives interns an insider’s perspective of the behavioral health field within the Utah County and Wasatch County communities. The primary objective of the Bachelor’s level internship program is to prepare interns for entry-level social work positions. The bachelor-level interns are expected to provide direct and indirect case management and psychosocial rehabilitation services. SUDC & ASUDC internships are available for those interested in pursuing a career within the substance use disorder field. SUDC (物质使用障碍 Counseling – basic license) & ASUDC (Advanced 物质使用障碍 Counseling – advanced license) certificate earners have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience in our 物质使用障碍 Division. They will directly work with clients in a variety of ways such as through: case management, 心理教育的个人和团体治疗, 行为管理. Interns will learn of the various treatment options and community resources for those with substance use disorders and will have weekly supervision to enhance knowledge and learning in this field.
